근교 sets the destination range. 힐링 gives the reason. 떠나다 adds emotional weight to the departure. 훌쩍 makes it feel spontaneous and free. And 일정 tells how planned (or not) the whole thing was.

1. 근교 — nearby area outside the city 🗺️

서울 근교 = area near Seoul. 근교 여행 = short nearby trip. 근교로 가다 = to go to a nearby area. Not just any "nearby place" — specifically an area outside a city, close enough for a day or weekend trip.

2. 힐링 — rest, recharging, emotional recovery 🌿

A Koreanised English loanword. 힐링하다 = to relax/recharge. 힐링되다 = to feel restored. 힐링이 필요하다 = to need a break. In casual Korean, 힐링 is the go-to reason for almost any rest trip.

3. 떠나다 — to leave, set off, go away 🚗

More expressive than 가다. Emphasises the departure from your usual place. 여행을 떠나다 = to set off on a trip. 일상에서 벗어나 떠나다 = to leave daily life behind. Slightly literary/emotional feel.

4. 훌쩍 — spontaneously, casually, without overthinking 💨

An adverb that makes leaving feel light and freeing. 훌쩍 떠나다 = to suddenly take off. 훌쩍 다녀오다 = to make a quick spontaneous trip. Does NOT mean "very far" — it's about the feeling of leaving, not the distance.

5. 일정 — schedule, itinerary, timeline 📅

일정을 잡다 = to set a schedule. 일정을 짜다 = to make an itinerary. 일정이 빡빡하다 = the schedule is packed. 일정을 여유롭게 잡다 = to make a relaxed itinerary.
