1. 미용실 — hair salon, beauty salon 💇

The place itself. 미용실에 가다 = to go to the salon. Also used: 헤어샵 (more trendy/modern), but 미용실 is the standard everyday word.

2. 다듬다 — to trim, to tidy up, to neaten ✂️

Used when you want a small adjustment, not a full cut. 끝만 다듬다 = to just trim the ends. 머리를 다듬다 = to tidy up one's hair. This is your key word for "not too much, just neaten it up."

3. 염색 — hair colouring, dyeing 🎨

The noun for the act of colouring hair. 염색하다 = to colour/dye one's hair. 염색이 잘 됐어요 = the colour came out well. Common compound: 뿌리 염색 = root touch-up.

4. 세련되게 — polished, sophisticated, chic (adverb) 👔

The adverb of 세련되다 (to be refined/sophisticated). Used to describe the look or style you want: 세련되게 잘라 주세요 = please cut it so it looks polished/chic.

5. 만족스럽다 — satisfying, pleasing, to be satisfied with 😊

An adjective: 결과가 만족스러워요 = the result is satisfying. The opposite is 아쉬워요 (it's a bit disappointing). Very useful for expressing honest feedback politely.
