1. 방을 구하다 — to look for/find a room or place to live 🏠

방을 구하고 있어요 = I'm looking for a room. 방을 구하기 어려워요 = it's hard to find a room. 구하다 = to seek/obtain. Not 찾다 (to search/find) — 구하다 implies actively seeking to secure something.

2. 보증금 — security deposit 💰

The lump-sum deposit paid upfront in Korea (often very large — millions of won). 보증금이 얼마예요? = How much is the deposit? 보증금을 내다 = to pay the deposit. 보증금을 돌려받다 = to get the deposit back.
