These five words cover the complete lifecycle of everyday app use and appear constantly in Korean tech conversations, reviews, and everyday speech.

1. 설치 — installation 📲

설치하다 = to install. 앱을 설치하다 = to install an app. 설치가 완료됐어요 = installation is complete. ≠ 다운로드 (download) — 다운로드 is getting the file; 설치 is making it runnable.

2. 업데이트 — update 🔄

업데이트하다 = to update. 앱을 업데이트하다 = to update an app. 업데이트가 있어요 = there's an update available. 최신 버전으로 업데이트하다 = to update to the latest version.

3. 편리하다 — convenient, handy, easy to use 🪄

편리한 앱 = a convenient app. 사용이 편리하다 = easy/convenient to use. ≠ 편안하다 (comfortable emotionally); 편리하다 = functionally convenient.

4. 수시로 — frequently, at any time, constantly ⏰

An adverb meaning at various/frequent intervals. 수시로 확인하다 = to check frequently. 수시로 알림이 와요 = notifications come frequently. ≠ 항상 (always/at all times); 수시로 = repeatedly throughout the day.

5. 용량 — storage capacity, file size 💾

용량이 크다/작다 = large/small file size. 용량을 차지하다 = to take up storage. 용량이 부족하다 = storage is insufficient. 용량을 확인하다 = to check storage.
