🌏 Cultural Note — Patience as a Korean Value
살다 보니... is one of the most beloved sentence openers in Korean — roughly "as I've lived this life..." It's used by elders to share wisdom, by young people to reflect on growth, and by anyone who wants to signal earned insight rather than book knowledge. It signals: "I didn't read this — I lived it." Using 하다 보니 and 살다 보니 naturally shows Korean conversational maturity.

Common Pitfall
Don't confuse '-다 보니' with '-다가'. '-다가' means "while doing X, Y happened (often interrupting)." '-다 보니' means "as I kept doing X over time, Y emerged." The key is repetition and gradual emergence.
