🌏 Cultural Note — Career Identity in Korea

In Korean culture, a person's job and company carry significant social weight. Being asked 어디 다니세요? (Where do you work?) is completely normal upon first meeting. Having a smooth, warm career narrative — not boastful, but grounded — makes a strong impression. It's also common to share your industry and ambitions in the same breath, showing you have direction. Phrases like 더 성장하고 싶어요 (I want to grow more) are seen as admirable, not vague.
