Pitfall
Don't confuse 보람 (sense of fulfillment/reward from meaningful work) with 보상 (compensation, reward as in payment). 이 일이 보람 있어요 = the work is meaningful. 이 일이 보상이 좋아요 = the pay/reward is good.

Grammar Tip
~거든요 appears at the end of a sentence to explain or give background reasoning. It's like saying "the thing is..." or "because..." in English. It's much more natural than ~이기 때문에 in casual speech.
