You don't need a full sentence to shop — just point at the item and say 이거 주세요 [i-geo ju-se-yo]. Add 얼마예요? [eol-ma-ye-yo?] if you want the price first. Short and simple phrases are completely normal in shops! 🛍️

⚠️ Pitfalls to Dodge

❌ Asking the price with a full formal sentence and overthinking it → ✅ Just say 이거 얼마예요? — short and natural.

❌ Assuming all shops take cards → ✅ Ask 카드 돼요? first, especially at markets and small stalls.

❌ Forgetting that bags often cost extra or aren't automatic → ✅ Say 봉투 필요 없어요 if you don't need one, or ask 봉투 있어요? if you do.
